Finalists for the 2014 NZ Open Source Awards Announced

The judges have deliberated over an inspiring set of nominated projects and individuals to select the finalists for the 2014 NZ Open Source Awards. Three or four finalists were selected in each of the following categories:

  • Open Source Use in Government
  • Open Source Use in Business
  • Open Source Use in Education
  • Open Source Software Project
  • Open Source Contributor
  • Open Source in Social Services
  • Open Science Award
  • Open Art Award

And then there's the coveted Open Source People's Choice Award - we encourage everyone to have a look and vote for their faviourite NZ open source project or contributor!

Come and join us for the final gala dinner on Wednesday 12 November at Te Papa, Wellington where the winners will be announced! Tickets are $45, to reserve your ticket contact awards@nzosa.org.nz.

At the awards dinner, the winner of prestigious Clinton Bedogni Prize for Open Systems will also be announced.
